It's hard to believe, but in Western Canada it seems a lot like spring. For our 6th editorial, we are featuring Meghan Labadie, with a modern country-western feel to the styling and setting. Having family on the island, I was fortunate enough to take off for the weekend with Meghan and shoot a really interesting location with a lot of different feels. Unfortunately, Alyssa couldn't be there to fine-tune the styling, but we had a wardrobe trial the night before. We tried our best to communicate (I was sending her pictures via bbm of the location, outfits etc. while she was at work) but it's still kind of tough to get the styling perfect when you're not physically there...especially since Alyssa is a perfectionist when it comes to her 'styling visions', but we definitely made use of technology to keep her updated.
