Another successful photoshoot went down this past Sunday in an awesome warehouse space in Vancouver's Strathcona area. This time we stepped up our photoshoot game and obtained some "professional" equipment. Although labeled "professional," we had a lot of problems with the flash trigger and a lot of other boring technical stuff that I won't bother getting into.
Our team is slowly growing and it's pretty exciting! Jordan Petryk is of course the resident Greymanner photographer, while I'm trusted to hold the fort down as Greymanner's resident stylist. The shoot wouldn't have been so successful without the help of Kenneth Fagan, our trusty photo assistant/lighting go-to man who has some awesome cameras and lenses that he so generously let us use. We got the chance to work with the talented makeup artist Jeanette Schwarz again, who was so keen and attentive on listening to what look I wanted for the shoot, while at the same time adding her personal style to each look, that I am so excited for everyone to see it. A new addition to our photoshoot team that day was hairstylist Linda Nguyen, who got only a few days notice to work on our editorial with us. Even though she didn't get much notice, she nailed the look perfectly to accent the wardrobe. And of course without our two models, Renée Power & Niehma Glanville, we wouldn't have anything to show for. Thanks to their energy and chemistry, it was a breeze to get some fun shots of the two of them in their colourful outfits. So now to send our raw photos on over to Farrell Sean in Indonesia who will add his personal touches to the pictures and we'll have another editorial to share!
This shoot was pretty much a party for all of us, and I hope the next ones to come are just as fun and successful!
I know this is the behind the scenes for editorial #7, and you're probably wondering where #6 is...but it will definitely be up by the end of the week! So, two editorials to look forward to from us. We hope you like them.
More 'Behind the Scenes' pics after the jump.
