Model: Monica Cindy. Location: Legian Beach, Bali
I was lucky enough to not experience the crazy cold winter and spent the entire Christmas holiday in Bali. So I decided to use the opportunity to make a 'Tropical' Editorial photoshoot for Greymanner, which also happens to be our first editorial this year! Sadly though, Jordan and Alyssa weren't with me in Bali, which sucked because Jordan is the one with photography skills and Alyssa is our stylist, and they are thousands of miles away in Canada. So please, do not compare this editorial with our last two. I picked the clothes from my sister's closet and borrowed my dad's SLR and googled everything I could about photography techniques overnight - which was kinda useless, since in the end, I set the wrong ISO and FORGOT to set the image resolution to 'maximum quality'. Ugh. Hence, the results were 'low res + grainy pictures' - which I'm hoping I can make up for in Photoshop.
Anyways, for our 3rd Editorial, I asked my sister to model for us, Monica Cindy. She was a dancer, so I guess it wasn't too hard for her to pose in front of the camera. The only challenge was that we barely had time, we had so many other things planned for our holiday (photoshoot excluded), so we had less than 20 minutes for each session - and before the sun was gone. But thanks to my sister's boyfriend, Andi, who helped us in taking the behind the scenes pictures.
Well, we are still planning to do one more photo session in Jakarta. So until then...
