Greymanner 5th Editorial: Behind The Scenes

Another photoshoot on a semi-non-rainy Sunday afternoon. This time the shoot took us to Stanley Park's 2nd Beach, where our model Wesley Fields got the opportunity to cleverly maneuver on some algae'd rocks, have the tide roll in and leave him stranded on said rocks unless he wanted to get his feet soaked to jump back to dry land (which he did...thanks, Wes!), and mingle with some flora & fauna.

We got a few looks, a couple of stares, and a comment that we didn't know if we were supposed to take as a compliment or not...we've collectively agreed that it was a compliment. And I hope that when we've put the finishing touches on these photos, you won't think it looks like an Abercrombie & Fitch ad...

Besides Jordan getting mad at me for my stereotyped ethnic and gendered driving skills, a roll of medium format film being wasted, and the experimental flash portion of our shoot being extremely experimental, I had a great time today styling Wes and seeing everything come together pretty smoothly. Jordan got the opportunity to capture Wes on three different types of cameras, so I'm sure he's excited to get his film developed. And from the looks of what he's captured on the digital, I am really confident that he's got some more amazing shots on the way!

Some more 'Behind the Scenes' after the jump.
