Let me start this off by apologizing for the lack of updates as of late. Jordan, Farrell and I had a couple of busy weeks and Jordan and I just returned from Seattle, minus Farrell because right now he's on his flight to New York. We'll miss you Farrell! So, this weekend wardrobe (I guess it's a weekday wardrobe this time) is dedicated to our Farewell Farrell trip to Seattle.
While we were in Seattle we only managed to hit up a few stores (i.e. Totokaelo, Barneys, Filson, etc.) and I saw a few pieces that resembled the ones I chose, or are the exact ones. All I can think about is Aesa jewelry now, and I'm kicking myself for not getting a necklace from Barneys or Totokaelo. Also saw a lot of leather and leather-wannabe pants at H&M, and I also want a pair of those badly right now too. I had to feature a pair of ridiculously-high priced Pucci pants because they've got zippers on them, and I have been living in my zipper pants lately. Too bad they're not leather.
I mixed a lot of different types of textiles - leather, suede, wool and cashmere, but I like how they add interest via texture. Even though the leather gives off a hard, tough vibe, the actual weight and drape of the pieces still lend to the softness of this entire look. I'm also sticking true to my attraction to all things grey-based... could also be due to all this rain we've been getting.
