Greymanner 2nd Editorial: Ifyoucannothide

I know I should have posted this editorial back during Canadian Thanksgiving week, but real life stuff took up my time back then. FYI, I am now halfway around the world (hopefully not for long), but nevertheless, I will, along with Jordan and Alyssa, still be updating our precious Greymanner even though we're thousands of miles apart. Hopefully, we can encompass a wider perspective, as I'm also trying to cover more things about the fashion industry on this side of the world (Asia and Australia). We still have our fancy business meetings on Skype every once in a while.

Back to the editorial. This is our second photo shoot, featuring Meredith Hama-Brown, shot by Jordan Petryk (Jordan Petryk Photography) and styled by Alyssa. I uploaded 'Behind The Scenes' pictures a month ago, with the theme 'Anti-Thanksgiving - If you cannot hide.' It has been over a month now, but hey, Thanksgiving in the United States is next week! So I guess our theme is still applicable.

Through our theme, we deliver our rants and complain about how disabled our society is. How we ended up becoming the victim rather than the participant. Hence, we were trying to portray Meredith, covered in fake-glamor vintage pieces and a fur coat collection, as the broken product of today's modern society - destroyed by social expectations and moral pressure. We have divided the editorial into three parts, each part representing her mental state and how it has progressed. We will leave the rest to your imagination.

More pictures after the jump.
