Six Scents: Series Two - Fragrances by 6 Designers

I wasn't planning to blog about perfume, as I'm not a regular perfume buyer (I still have my Bvlgari one I bought last year) and I'm unable to find the fun side of describing certain smells and then placing them in scent categories. But this post is an exception - it has nothing to do with the smell, but the concept and the product's philosophy. 3 Deep Design and Metaproject, in partnership with leading fragrance producer Givaudan, bring 6 selected renowned designers and perfumiers to develop a limited edition series of fragrances to help raise money for charity. And this year, they have brought back the second series, Six Scents: Series Two, with a whole new set of designers; among them the infamous Phillip Lim, Damir Doma and Henrik Vibskov.

And apparently they're not limiting themselves to fragrances. 3 Deep Design also collaborated with a video artist, botanical sculptural artist, and photographer to produce a series of films, art and photography as part of this project in order to explore the relationship between artist and nature. As quoted from their official website, each experience intends to instigate the desire to preserve the environment of Six Scents so that others can continue to be inspired by the beauty, power and intrigue of nature. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Pro-Natura in support of their environmental sustainability programs.

Six Scents: Series Two, was launched this month in New York, Tokyo, Seoul and London. You better go check out their website to find the retailer's information because there are only 2000 bottles available from each designer.

Here is the list of the whole series of fragrances from Six Scents: Series Two:

2. Damir Doma & Yann Vasnier
3. Henrik Vibskov & Louise Turner
