In fear of regurgitating way too much of New York's Fashion Week (I'm also sick of seeing it everywhere as well and I'm sure everyone else is too), I will therefore only regurgitate something else less in the spotlight: Vena Cava's blog.
As with a lot of things, I wasn't a fan of Vena Cava until recently. I seem to grow to like things way more than I would if I had liked something from the start. Or perhaps it's because I only grow to like it because I learn more about it--the history, the people behind it, the story of how it came to be etc. And as with everything, or most things, ignorance can only be cured through education. I find that with something like Vena Cava, I can greatly appreciate them more because I get a glimpse into their daily lives, the way they think, and what inspires them. Now, Vena Cava (the label and the two girls behind it) seems more down to earth, something tangible and something I can feel more connected to. Now, I'm probably sounding like a borderline stalker or a crazy (I won't dig myself a deeper hole by trying to deny it, because I'm not a stalker or a crazy) but c'mon, we all read blogs for a reason. And hey, Vena Cava have put their life on a blog for a reason, and it's working. Try to deny that.
Anyways, the picture above and after the jump are from their upcoming lookbook that they shot a few days ago with Georgia Nerheim. All images seen here are by © Marilia Destot. Can't wait to see it!

I'd love to see more photographs by Georgia Nerheim from the Vena Cava lookbook.
