Grey Manner: Dress Up - Dovetails A/W10

I was a little late to catch on to Dress Up, but now I've managed to stumble across Stephanie Downey's A/W '10 collection entitled 'Dovetails'. Silks and crushed velvet? Random flashback to grade 6 when my Mother purchased two pairs of crushed velvet elasticated-waist pants for me, one in navy and one in a pastel blue; I wore them a lot. I also clearly remember silk tops, one in lilac and another in powder blue. I also might have got made fun of. The colour palette is definitely a refined take on my grade 6 style in the best way possible. Don't think anyone will be making fun of me if I pick up a few pieces from Dress Up's 'Dovetails'.
